Yolanda C. Tritto

Yolanda Tritto, 97, passed away peacefully on February 1, 2021 in Bluffton, SC. She was born on August 9, 1923 in the Bronx, NY to Anthony and Elsie Lindner Carpentieri. She was predeceased by her parents, her sister, Louise (Smith) and her brothers Peter, John and Frank. She was married to her husband Pat Tritto for 55 years until his death in 2004. They made their home in Monroe (South Blooming Grove) where they raised their two daughters. Yolanda was an Orange County resident for 68 years, until her move to South Carolina in 2018. In her younger years, Yolanda was employed by CBS in Manhattan, where she met many celebrities. While living in Monroe, she was a devoted wife and mother, who volunteered for the local PTA and various other committees. She was employed by Orange County for the Departments of Probation, Social Services and Public Works. She also worked the polls for both school and general elections. In addition to spending time with her family, Yolanda loved traveling, being outdoors and was an avid swimmer. Yolanda is survived by her daughters Nancy and husband John of Lake Pleasant, NY; Nina and her husband Dennis of Hardeeville, SC, Grandsons John and his wife Rebecca of Utica, NY; Matthew and his wife Caitlin of Lake Pleasant, NY; and one great-grandson Asher. She is also survived by one brother-in-law and two sisters-in-law and many nieces and nephews. Due to Covid 19, cremation was held in South Carolina. There will be a visitation with the family on Monday, August 30th from 10:00 am to 12 noon at Donovan Funeral Home, 82 S. Church Street in Goshen. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Yolanda's name to Memory Matters, 117 William Hilton Parkway, Hilton Head, SC 29926 or Crescent Hospice, 10 Buckingham Plantation Drive, Bluffton, SC 29910.
