William Rose

William J. Rose Chester, New York William J. Rose of Chester passed away Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at Orange Regional Medical Center-Arden Hill Campus with his loving companion ay his side. The son of the late Genevia Lewis and Edward Rose. He was born in Suffern, NY and attended Rockland schools. He was retired from Letchworth Village in Theills as a Motor Vehicle Operator. Bill was an avid sports fan he liked the Yankees and Giants. He also loved to hear the political debates and was a whiz on the computer with the card games. He is survived by his companion Bertha Beach; sons, Billy Rose and wife Michele, Gerald Rose and Thomas Rose; sisters, Gloria McElroy, Lorraine Philips and Daphene Rose; Grandsons, Dereck and Cary Rose and granddaughter, Billy-Jo Rose. He was predeceased by his son, Stewart; brothers, Edward, Hanford and Robert; and sisters Loretta, Otte and Shirley Taylor There will be no viewing at William's request.
