VINCENT A. MYRUSKI September 17, 1923 - November 14, 2015 Goshen, NY Vincent A . Myruski, a life long resident of Goshen, NY, departed this life after a short illness on Saturday, November 14, 2015 at the age of 92. Vincent was born September 17, 1923 in Goshen, NY. He is the son of the late Frank and the late Josephine (Ciak) Myruski. He married Louise "Jiggs" White Myruski. Vincent is survived by his loving wife of 67 years, Louise "Jiggs" Myruski at home; his daughter, Lynn Riehle of Goshen, NY; three sons, Mark Myruski and his partner, Lloyd Lemek of Dallas, TX, David Myruski and his wife, Thelma of Goshen, NY, and Matthew Myruski of Goshen, NY. Vincent is also survived by three grandchildren, Jason Riehle of Goshen, NY, Lisa Myruski of Brooklyn, NY, and Danielle Riehle Rosen and her husband, Jordan; two great grandchildren, Simone and Gage Rosen of White Plains, NY; one sister, Helen Myruski Lloyd of Naples, FL, a brother-in-law, Joseph Roach of Chester, NY; and 28 nieces and nephews. Vincent was a member of the Operating Engineers Union and retired from the Dutchess Quarry in 1992 where he worked for many years. He was an honorary member of the Dikeman Engine & Hose Co. #3 where he served the Goshen community since 1956. He was also a special honorary member of the Cataract Engine & Hose, Goshen, NY. In his younger years he played softball for several local teams and was an avid bowler. Vincent was a communicant of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, Goshen, NY. and was an usher for many years. Visitation Hours will be held at the Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY from 4 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday, November 17, 2015. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, November 18, 2015 at 10 a.m. at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave., Goshen, NY. Interment will be handled privately by the family at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the Donovan Funeral Home, Goshen, NY.
