Teresa Demarco

Teresa DeMarco, 88, of Goshen, NY, entered into rest on Tuesday, November 29, 2016 at Elant in Goshen. Teresa was born January 26, 1928 in Bronx, NY, the daughter of Martin and Mildred (Guidice) Pollizotto. She retired as a kindergarten aid from Chapel School in Bronxville, NY and had worked in many law offices. She had been a notary for many years. She was a past parishioner of St. Joseph's Church in Bronxville, NY. Teresa loved her family with all her heart and was devoted to her children and grandchildren She is survived by her daughters, Elena Coogan of Goshen, Terri Griffin and husband Jim of Palm Harbor, FL, and Roberta DeMarco of Godeffroy, NY; sister, Mildred Villani; brother, Martin Pollizotto; brother-in-law, Peter DeMarco and wife Aline; beloved grandchildren, Matthew and wife Grace, Michael, Christina and James; great grandson, Charlie and many special nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert DeMarco; her brothers, Michael and Vincent; and her sister, Marie Milillo. Visitation will be Thursday, December 1 from and 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian Burial will be Friday, December 2, at 10:15 am at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Avenue, Goshen, NY. Burial will be in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Valhalla on Friday, December 2 at 12:15 pm.
