Steven Andersen

Steven S. Andersen, 54, of Middletown, passed away Monday, October 20, 2014 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY. Steven was born April 6, 1960 in Goshen, NY, the son of Walter and Eleanor (Greak) Andersen. A lifetime resident of the area, who worked hard his entire life, he was an electrician's helper for Local 363. He loved the outdoors, hunting and fishing. The kindest man who would lend a hand to anyone He is survived by his 2 sons, Steven Andersen of Bainbridge, NY and Alexander Andersen of Middletown; Alex's mom, Laurie; brothers, Robert Andersen and wife Tracy of Middletown and Jeffrey Andersen of Middletown; nieces and nephews, Rhianna and her fiance, Jeremy Jones, Nicholas Andersen, Steven Heater and Kelly Heater; 2 great nieces, Jaidalyn and Avarie. Visitation will be Thursday, October 23 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A graveside service and burial will be held 11:00 am on Friday, October 24, 2014 at St. Stanislaus Cemetery, Pine Island, NY In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Andersen Family, 155 High Barney Road, Middletown, NY 10940, for a trust fund to be setup in Alex's name.
