Solomon Cohen

Solomon Cohen, 77, of Goshen died Tuesday, November 13, 2007 at home. The son of the late Isaac and the late Diamante (Selanikio) Cohen. He was born May 31, 1930 in Astoria, NY. Solomon was employed by M&T Bank in Monroe as an Investment Specialist. He was a Korean Army War Veteran, member of the VFW of Goshen Post 1708 and the American Legion Post 377. He is survived by his wife: Denise Cohen at home; 4 sons, Steven Cohen of Tuscon, AZ, Ira Cohen of Buffalo, NY, David Cohen of San Rafael, CA, and Adam Cohen of Virginia Beach; daughter, Diane Peloquin of Tuscon, AZ; brothers, Albert Cohen of Astoria, NY and Samuel Cohen of Brookfield, CT; sister, Rebecca Friedman of White Lake, NY; 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his son Robert Cohen. A Graveside Service will be on Thursday, November 15, 2007 at 11:30 am at the Orange County Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, NY.
