Samuel Kreitzer

Dr. Samuel Michael Kreitzer, age 66, of Goshen died Monday, November 20, 2006 at Columbia Presbyterian Hospital, New York. Dr.. Kreitzer was born May 11, 1940 in Brooklyn, NY the son of Jack and Helen (Lewis) Kreitzer. He was to married Kathleen Mulligan Kreitzer. Dr. Kreitzer began his residency in Neurology at Mt. Sinai Hospital. He served in an elite helicopter unit of the 82nd Airborne during the Vietnam War. He then became a Neurology Attending at Helen Hayes Hospital and Horton Medical Center. Most recently he cared for his patients in private practice in Middletown. He is survived by his wife: Kathleen (Mulligan) Kreitzer, daughter, Aimee Kreitzer of New York City and son, Scott Kreitzer of Ridgewood, NJ, grandson, Charles Kreitzer , daughter-in-law, Lisa Kreitzer, step-daughter,, Bridget Olsen and her husband Scott of Beverly, MA, step-son, Gerard Strong of Seattle, WA, cousins, Jean Berliner and her husband Ted of Long Island, Ronnie Eichenbaum of Florida and many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and grand nephews. Predeceased by his 1st wife, Harriet Kreitzer. Calling hours will be Sunday from 09:00 to 10:00 AM. At the Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church St. Goshen, The funeral will be Sunday at 10:00 at Donovan Funeral Home with Rabbi Rebecca Shinder officiating. Burial will follow at the Congregation Sons Of Israel Cemetery, Spring Valley, NY. The family will receive friends after interment on Sunday and also on Monday and Tuesday at their Goshen Home.
