Salvatore Zani

Salvatore Zani, age 63, of Goshen, N.Y. passed away Wednesday, January 16, 2019 at Sloan Kettering of New York, NY. Salvatore was born January 2, 1956 in the Bronx, NY. He is the son of the late Aldo and the late Mary (Alotta) Zani. He was employed by Metro North Railroad for 38 years and was the Supervisor for Buildings and Structure department in Croton Harmon. He is survived by his wife: Michele Zani. He was the beloved father of two sons: Salvatore, married to Gabrielle Zani and Michael, married to Justine Zani. He was blessed with five grandchildren: Brielle, Salvatore, Dominic, Giovanni, and Laila. He is survived by Angela Toscano, his loving sister and many nieces and nephews. He was a resident of Goshen for 35 years. He was involved in his community as a volunteer with the soccer club. He coached Little League for many years. He will be missed and loved by all. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 22 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. The funeral will be held 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 at St. John's The Evangelist Church, 71 Murray Ave., Goshen, NY. Burial will follow at St. Columba Cemetery, Chester.
