SALLIANNE SOSLER MAY 12, 2016 Sallianne "Salli" Sosler of Wallkill, NY, passed away peacefully and surrounded by her loving family on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at the Kaplan Family Residence, after a long and courageous battle with cancer. Sallianne was the daughter of the late Vincent and Sally Simonelli DeAngelis and was born in Brooklyn NY. She graduated from Wallkill Senior High School and attended SUNY New Paltz . Salli was a partner in life and business with her husband, Joseph M. Sosler, Tax Accounting and Business Consultants in Goshen, NY She was an avid reader and enjoyed crossword puzzles and brain games. She loved traveling with her husband, shopping in Vermont, the shore at Long Beach Island (specifically Beach Haven) and roller blading. She loved and cared for animals, especially her cats. She enjoyed watching and cheering for the NY Giants and the NY Knicks. She adored being with her grandchildren, especially when they were all together at the shore. Sallianne was also a part of the grass-roots organization that developed and created the Non-Profit group, Orange Pathways, which was instrumental in developing the former Erie Railroad into the hiking and biking trail known as the Orange Heritage Trail. Sallianne is survived by her loving and devoted husband, Joseph, at home; her son, Frank Tabasco of Cornwall, NY; her son, Jay Tabasco and his wife, Dawn, of Hillsdale NJ and their children Cassandra, Toriana and Jay (JT). She is also survived by her sister Linda Chumas and her husband, Spero, of Wallkill NY; her niece, Kara Chumas of Wallkill NY; her nephew, Spero Chumas and his wife Erin, of Los Angeles, CA and their son, Ronan; step-children Joseph Sosler and his wife Jennifer of Austin, TX; Cynthia Green of Goshen, NY and her children Melissa, James, William and their children and her sister-in-law, Jacqueline Regelski of Ohio. Visitation will be held 3:00 pm – 6:00 PM, Sunday, May 15, 2016 at The Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church Street, Goshen NY. Services and entombment will be private.
