ROY V.R. GROGAN, JR. GOSHEN, NEW YORK Roy V.R. Grogan, Jr., 87, of Goshen, NY died at home with family on Friday, December 12, 2008. Roy was born April 23, 1921 in Spencer, NY the son of the late Roy V.R. Grogan Sr. and the late Gladys (Wilson) Grogan. He was the husband of Joan Stead Grogan. Roy, long time resident of Goshen,.retired after 38 years of service in the US Army National Guard with the rank of Command Sergeant Major. He worked in the construction industry and retired as a Project Manager for Merrit Meridian Construction. He is survived by his wife, Joan Grogan at home; former wife, Dorothy Grogan; son, Mike Grogan and his wife Benva; daughter, Gladys Porter; 4 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren. Visitation will be Tuesday, December 16, 2008 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. With the Funeral Service Tuesday at 8:00 pm in the funeral home. Burial will be Wednesday, December 17, 2008 in Orange County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Goshen.
