Rose Higgins

Rose Marie Maher Higgins, 89, of Goshen, entered into rest on Thursday, August 30, 2018 in Stockholm, NJ. Rose Marie was born April 14, 1929 in New York, NY, the daughter of Thomas and Catherine (Whalen) Maher. She was the widow of John P. Higgins and predeceased by her daughter, Eileen Baer. She retired from Goshen Central Schools, Goshen, NY as a Teacher's Aide. She is survived by her sons, John G. Higgins and wife Kerri and Gerard T. Higgins; son-in-law, Gerry Baer; grandchildren, Danielle, Erin, John, Katelyn, Ryan, Colleen and Maggie. Visitation will be Tuesday, September 4 from 4 to 8 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. The funeral will be held 10:00 AM on Wednesday, September 5, 2018 at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Wallkill Cemetery, Middletown, NY.
