Robert Kruger

Robert W. Kruger, 70, of Goshen died Wednesday, June 4, 2008 at Orange Regional Medical Center-Arden Hill Campus, Goshen. Robert was born July 28, 1937 in Newburgh, NY the son of Paul E. and Myrtle (Smith) Kruger. He was the husband of Wilma D. Elwood Kruger. He served in the U.S. Army from 1961 to 1965 and received the Good Conduct Medal. He was a retired Logistics Engineer for New Haven Railroad, Maybrook, NY. He is survived by his wife: Wilma D. Kruger at home; son, Scott D. Kruger and wife Susan and their children Owen and Claudia of Butler, NJ; daughter, Colleen E. Kruger-Distel and husband Joseph and their children Rachel and Charles of Middletown, NY; sister, Pauline DeLessio of Saugerties, NY; sister-in-law, Donna Kruger of Campbell Hall, NY and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers, Eric W. Kruger and William A. Kruger. Visitation will be Friday, June 6, 2008 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church St., Goshen. The Funeral Service will be Saturday, June 7, 2008 at 11:00 am at the Goshen United Methodist Church with Reverend Virginia C. Hoch officiating. Burial will follow in Hamptonburgh Cemetery, Campbell Hall, NY.
