Richard Miller

Richard "Rich" Miller 79 of Campbell Hall died Monday, August 7, 2017. Rich was born December 8, 1937 at his family's home. He was the son of Oscar and Florence (Roach) Miller. Rich worked for Orange County on the bridge crew until he retired. He was a graduate of Goshen High School, and served in the US Army during the Vietnam War. He was a proud father, devoted husband and loving grandfather. He built the home he raised his family in and enjoyed tinkering and working on side projects. He loved garage sales, trips to Monticello and weekly card games with his siblings. Rich is survived by his loving wife Ellen P. Miller and his two sons Eric (wife Sharon) and Dave (wife Alison). He was blessed with 3 loving grandchildren Derrick, Erica and Jessica and grand dog Georgia. He is survived by his two brothers Art and Glenn (wife Nancy) and his two sisters Florence and Marilyn as well as multiple nieces, nephews and cousins. His warmth and humor will be dearly missed. A graveside service and burial will be held 11:00 am on Friday, August 11, 2017 at Slate Hill Cemetery, Goshen, NY. Arrangements under the care of the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., Goshen.
