Raymond Farley

Raymond J. Farley, Jr., 69, of Milford, PA, formerly of Goshen, NY died Thursday, November 17, 2016 at Good Samaritan Hospital, Suffern, NY. Raymond was born August 4, 1947 in Manhattan NY, the son of Raymond J. Farley, and Eileen M. Farley. He served in the U.S. Navy and was the recipient of three Bronze Stars. He was a man that valued his children and grandchildren more than anything else in the world. He had a smile for everyone, was charismatic and had many friends. He moved to Pennsylvania several years ago and became an avid golfer. His new found Pennsylvania friends became family as well. He retired from Healey Brothers, Middletown, NY as Finance Manager. He is survived by children, Melissa Farley Abraham and husband Jeffrey of Goshen, Christopher Farley and fiancée Lillie of Virginia, Kimberly Farley Priest and husband Kelvin of Middletown, Nicole Heckman and husband Jason of Slingerlands, NY; brother, Robert Farley and wife Katherine Keniry of Saratoga Springs, NY sister Jeanne Farley Warren and husband Jeffry of Newbern, NC; 9 grandchildren, Makaela and Alex Farley, Hannah Abraham, Alexis Alvarez, Tre and Elijah Priest, Chole, Camilla and Thomas Heckman; one great grandson Mikah Farley; and many cousins, nieces and nephews. Raymond was predeceased by his parents and brother, James Farley. Visitation will be Sunday, November 20 from 2-4 PM at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Monday, November 21, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen, NY. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
