Ralph Silvernail

Ralph William Silvernail, 74, of Hudson, FL died Tuesday, May 14, 2013 at home. Ralph was born August 9, 1938 in Goshen, NY, the son of the late Walter and the late Ruth (Fenner) Silvernail. Ralph was a longtime member of St. James Episcopal Church, member of the Lucky 7 Club; drove a stock car in Middletown; coached soccer and baseball with the Goshen Youth League. In Florida he was very active in the community club house. He is survivied by his wife Patricia J. Silvernail at home; 2 sons, Robert Silvernail and wife Donna of Palm Bay, FL Randy Silvernail of Annapolis, MD; 3 daughter, Jeanne Healy and husband James of New Hampton, NY, Ruthann Galvin and husband William of Middletown, NY, Robin Purdy and husband Larry of Middletown, NY; 3 brothers, Irving Silvernail and wife Carol of Goshen, Douglas Silvernail and Jan of Middletown, Edmund Silvernail of Middletown; sister, Cathy Hess of Clovis, NM; 14 grandchildren, Jamie, Thomas, Christopher, Billy, Brendan, Michele, Christy, Elijah, Robert, Aubrie, Steven, Christopher, Jonathan and Mathew; 3 great-grandchildren, Christopher, Anthony and Derrick; several nieces and nephews; and many dear friends. He was predeceased by his brother, Earl Silvernail; sister, Lucy Silvernail; and granddaughter, Ashley Silvernail. Visitation will be Friday, May 24, 2013 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church St., Goshen, NY. The Funeral Service will be Saturday, May 25, at 11:00 am at St. James Episcopal Church, Goshen, NY.
