R. Vincent Hammond

R. Vincent Hammond, Jr., 85, of Highland Mills, NY, passed on Thursday, January 7, 2021 at home with his loving wife by his side. Vince/Hamm was born April 23, 1935 in New York, NY, the son of Roosevelt V. Hammond, Sr. and Lavinia V. (Moore) Hammond. He was an active member in the Orange County Community. He is survived by his wife, Christine E. Hammond at home; son, Vincent; daughter Cheryl and husband, Dave Pearsall. Visitation will be Sunday, January 10 from 1 to 3 pm at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. Services will be held out of state in Virginia. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, please donate to the Goshen Rotary Scholarship Fund.
