Philip Salerno

Philip Salerno sadly passed away June 8, 2023 at the age of 85. He was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 3, 1937. He was predeceased by his loving parents Angelo and Josephine Salerno, his sister Marie Strang and his grandfather Carmelo Salerno.

Philip graduated from Cooper Union in 1961 and enjoyed a 60 year career as an exceptional and well respected structural engineer. He was a lifelong Yankee fan, enjoyed the opera, reading, Nascar, bowling and solving puzzles and Sudoku.

He is survived by his children Melissa & Jay, Jonathan & Danielle, David & Cathy and Daniel & Catherine. And his grandchildren Justin, Matthew, William, Aaron, Jacob, Jeremy, Ryan, Casey, Savannah and Cheyenne.

Visitation will be on Monday, June 12, 2023 from 4-7pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY.

Burial will be private.
