Paula Olsen, 86, of Goshen entered into rest on October 8, 2026, at St. Anthony's Community Hospital in Warwick, NY.

Paula was born on June 22, 1940, in Queens, NY to Salvatore Evangelista and Josephine Mollica Evangelista. Paula was predeceased by her husband Richard Olsen in 2007. She worked as a Medical Transcriptionist at Arden Hill Hospital in Goshen, NY. Paula was an active member in St. John The Evangelist RC Church. She taught CCD, was a Eucharist Minister, and a member of the Choir. She was also a member of the Goshen Senior Center and the Red Hat Society. Most of all, she loved spending time with the loves of her life, her grandchildren.

Paula is survived by her 3 children, John Olsen and his wife Michelle, Jo Anne Olsen and her fiancée Louis Hock, and Peter Olsen; her 5 grandchildren, Alec John Olsen and his wife Brittney, Lauren Hartranft and her husband Andrew, Abbey Catherine, Jack Gregory and Charles Richard Olsen.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, October 13, 2026, from 11AM - 12PM at Donovan Funeral Home, 82 S. Church Street, Goshen, NY 10924. A prayer service will be held at 11:45AM. Burial will follow in the Orange County Veterans Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, NY 10924.
