Paul A. Rassulo, 76, of Florida, NY, entered into rest on Friday, June 17, 2022 at home surrounded by his loving wife and children. Paul was born May 31, 1946, in Bronxville, NY, the son of Anthony and Elizabeth (Dorgan) Rassulo. He is survived by his adoring wife Dorothy (Costakis) Rassulo of 50 wonderful years, his three loving daughters Darlene Jansen, Paula Vernezos (Dimitrios), and Karen Vosburgh (David) and his beloved grandson's Shane Jansen, Evan Jansen, Christos Vernezos, and loannis Vernezos. Dear sisters Nancy Gallagher (Stephen), Mary Rassulo (Stan), and Ann Langley (David). And beloved nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his parents and brother William Rassulo. Paul was many things to many people. Devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother in-law, uncle, friend, and coach. He was a wine enthusiast, had a great devotion for his books, sports, and spending time with his family. He was a gourmet chef, and the entire family knew he would be cooking something special for Sunday family dinner. An Honors graduate from Tuckahoe High School class of 1964. Paul went on to achieve a Bachelor of Science in Education from Central Missouri State in 1968. Where he met lifelong friends that became family. And in 1972 he graduated from lona College with his master's in education. Paul was a retired teacher from Tappan Zee High School where he taught for many years. He also dedicated his summers to the precious children of Jawonio in Rockland County. Visitation will be Sunday, June 26, from 1pm to 3pm at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. Donations can be made in Paul's name to The Animal Rights Alliance, Inc.
