Born December 22, 1956 to Diana and the late Arthur Macerone, Paul was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, son, and friend whose kindness, quick wit, and genuine warmth left a lasting impression on everyone who knew him. He was well respected by all who crossed his path and had a remarkable ability to make people laugh, putting others at ease with his sense of humor and generous spirit.
Paul shared 47 wonderful years of marriage with his beloved wife, Marilyn. Together they built a life centered on love, family, and lasting memories.
In addition to his wife and mother he is survived by his children, Carrie, Joseph (Chrissy), and Paul (Yesenia); and his cherished grandchildren, Logan, Emelia, Brandon, Elaina, Liliana, Olivia, Owen, and Luciana, each of whom brought him immeasurable pride and joy. He also leaves behind his siblings, Laura, Lisa and David and other extended family members and dear friends who will forever cherish the time they shared with him.
Paul had a lifelong passion for motorcycles and cars and especially enjoyed restoring classic cars, a hobby that reflected his patience, craftsmanship, and attention to detail. He also loved classic rock, and the soundtrack of his life was filled with timeless songs that brought him happiness and connected him with family and friends. Whether sharing stories, enjoying a laugh, or talking about his favorite cars and music, Paul made every moment memorable.
For 28 years, Paul proudly dedicated his career to BMW of North America, where he was known not only for his strong work ethic and professionalism but also for his kindness and willingness to help others. He was well liked and deeply respected by colleagues, leaving a positive impression on everyone fortunate enough to work with him.
Family and friends are invited to celebrate Paul's life on Thursday, July 2nd from 4 pm - 7 pm at Donovan Funeral Home, 82 S Church St. Goshen NY 10924. Burial will be private and at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that memorial donations be made to Food For Kids, a nonprofit organization that provides meals to children attending the schools where Paul and Marilyn raised their own children.
