Paul Leroy Holm Campbell Hall, NY Formerly of Purgittsville, W. VA and Washington, D.C. Paul Leroy Holm, 80, of, Campbell Hall, NY, formerly of Purgittsville, W. VA and Washington, D.C. died Thursday, February 26, 2009 at Cortlandt Health Care in Cortlandt Manor, NY. Paul was born December 12, 1928 in Mediapolis, Iowa the son of Newt and Hazel (Bloomberg) Holm. Paul had a Bachelors and Masters Degree from University of Nebraska, he was an active member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. He retired as a Major from the National Guard Reserve in Washington, D.C. and later retired as Deputy Director of FHA USDA. Paul was the husband of Joan Campion (Reilly) Holm at home, father to David Holm of Prince Frederick, MD, Jeff Holm of Woodbury, PA, stepfather to Megan Reilly of Aspen CO, Moira Hollenbeck of Cumberland, RI, Patrick Reilly of N. Myrtle Beach, SC and Edmund Reilly of Gaithersburg, MD; nine grandchildren, eight great grandchildren; former husband to Mrs. Luella Ferguson of Maryland. He was predeceased by one son, Terry and two brothers. Paul leaves many friends in Washington, D.C.; Purgittsville, W. VA; Nebraska and New York. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, March 7, 2009 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church St., Goshen, NY. The Service will begin at 2:30 pm. Interment will be private.
