Paul John Costic aka PJ of Greenville, NY, formerly of Setauket, Long Island, passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021, at home with family by his side. He was 91 years old. Paul was born on April 10, 1930 in Old Field, LI, the son of Frances and John Costic. He was a graduate of Setauket High School. He served in the US Army during the Korean War in Greenland. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed gardening but his real passion was custom cars and trucks and he could be seen at many local car shows and gatherings. Paul loved his family and enjoyed family gatherings, barbecues, and holiday festivities. Paul retired from the Middletown Post Office after 32 years of service. He had a great wit, infectious sense of humor and many stories of his life. Paul leaves behind his sister, Mildred Osgood of Goshen; his nephew Robert Frey and wife Sonya, their children Sarah and husband Justin Moore, daughter Illiana, son Devin and fiance Alyssa Tansey: niece Diane Griffin and husband Wes: and their children Michael and Susan. Visitation was held Monday, December 20, 2021, from 1:00 – 2:30 PM at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Church Service immediately followed the visitation. Burial services were private at Saint Mary's Cemetery in Port Jervis with. Contributions may be made in Paul's name to a charity of your choice.
