Nora Gray

Nora M. Gray, age 80, of Middletown, NY, entered peacefully into rest Wednesday, August 16, 2023 at Phelps Memorial Hospital of Sleepy Hollow, NY.

Nora was born January 16, 1943 in Bronx, NY. She is the daughter of the late Joseph and the late Helen (Coyne) Brooks.

Prior to retirement, she was employed by Monroe-Woodbury Central School District as a Senior Bookkeeper in the Finance Department.

Nora is survived her children, Laura Gray and partner Donna Cary, Helen Lynch, Michael Gray and wife Alison, and Mary Shanly and husband Brian; her grandchildren, Joshua, Nora, Grace, Declan, Niamh, Teagan, Niall and Fiona.

She was predeceased by her husband, Michael J. Gray, Sr., her son Joseph Gray and grandson Finnegan John Gray.

There will be visitation hours on Sunday, August 20th, from 4:00pm – 7:00pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, 82 S. Church Street, Goshen, NY 10924.

A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 21st, at 11:00am at St Joseph's Church, 149 Cottage Street, Middletown, NY. Entombment will immediately follow in St. Joseph's Cemetery Mausoleum, Middletown.
