Nancy Alice Stansfield

Nancy Alice Stansfield passed away on June 12, 2025. She was 79 years old.

Nancy was born on May 1st, 1946 in Brooklyn, to Clarence & Alice Gertsen (née Hollison). She grew up in Congers, NY and graduated Clarkstown high school. She completed her education at secretarial school.

She was a wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and friend who will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

Nancy was active in church events, bible studies, line dancing with the Slate Hill Pacers, volunteering at Camp Deerpark and enjoying a glass of her favorite white zinfandel on the back patio.

Nancy is survived by her sons, Wayne (Shannon) of Goshen, NY and Craig (Erin) of Durant, Iowa, and her granddaughter, Grace. Nancy was predeceased by her husband, Dean Stansfield, parents Clarence & Alice Gertsen, and brother Glenn Gertsen.

Funeral services will be private.
