Maureen was born January 20, 1959 in Queens, NY, the daughter of Arthur and Florence (Hooker) Doherty. Maureen was an employee of IC Signs, Middletown, NY. Her family was her world. She lived her life to the fullest and she will be greatly missed. She often put others needs before her own. Her legacy will be her happiness. She is survived by her daughter, Carissa R. Melay and husband Robert of Warwick, NY; son, Nicholas R. Hopkins of Dix Hills, NY; significant other, Robert Korth and his children, Jason and Emily of Middletown; her parents, Arthur and Florence Doherty of Mays Landing, NJ; brother, Michael Doherty and wife Liz; 3 sisters, Kathy Hewins and husband Joe, Regina Evans and husband Chris and Alice Gershuny and husband Doug; granddaughter, Braelyn Melay and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Arthur Doherty. Visitation will be Monday, December 27 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY.
