Maryjane Berghauer

Mary Jane C. Berghauer Goshen, New York Mary Jane C. Berghauer, 84, of Goshen, entered into rest on Wednesday, January 18, 2017, at St. Anthony's Hospital in Warwick, NY. Mary Jane was born September 2, 1932 in Jamaica, NY, the daughter of William A. Collins and Agnes (Francis) Collins. She graduated from Mary Immaculate Hospital School of Nursing in 1952 to launch a 50+ year career as an RN. Though she officially retired from Arden Hill Hospital as a Nursing Supervisor at age 65, her care and compassion carried her through another 10 years of working per diem and a lifetime of caring for her family and friends. She is survived by her husband, Ronald E. Berghauer, at home; children, Bill Berghauer of Springfield, MA, Ed Berghauer and fiance Debbie Carpenter of Middletown, Jean Comisse of Goshen, and eLiz Jones and husband Roger of Pine Bush; and grandchildren, Michael Comisse and Chris Jones. "She was the glue that held our family together, was dearly loved, and will be sorely missed. She will forever be a saint in our eyes. God bless you. We love you!" Visitation will be Sunday, January 22, from 2-5 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Monday, January 23, 2017, at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen, NY. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
