Mary Ellen Murphy Montgomery, New York Formerly of Washingtonville, NY Mary Ellen Murphy, 73, of Montgomery passed away with her family around her on Monday, April 23, 2012 at home. Mary Ellen was born July 20, 1938 in the Bronx, NY, the daughter of Hugh and Julia (Kealy) Dwyer. She is survived by her beloved husband, Thomas Murphy; son, Thomas Murphy and wife Siobhan; daughters, Julie Marcella and husband Nicholas and Deirdre McManus and husband Francis; sisters-in-law, Kathleen Dwyer and Diane Murphy; 5 grandchildren, Dylan, Aidan, Colin, Daniel and Nicholas; nieces, Noreen Dwyer and Kristen Plancer and nephew, Hugh Dwyer. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother, John Dwyer. Visitation will be Thursday, April 26 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM & 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, April 27 at 11:00 am at St. Mary's R. C. Church, Washingtonville, NY. Burial will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery, Washingtonville, NY.
