MARY E. THEW CAMPBELL HALL, NY Mary E. Thew, 62, of, Campbell Hall, NY, died Wednesday, April 8, 2009 at Orange Regional Medical Center-Arden Hill Campus, Goshen, NY. Mary was born February 22, 1947 in Goshen, NY the daughter of John Cawein and Mary (Bracken) Cawein. She married Gordon Thew, September 1968 in Maybrook, NY, was a loving wife and mother for 40 years. She will be deeply missed. Mary was a lifetime area resident, she graduated from Washingtonville High School in 1965; worked for Social Security Administration in Newburgh, NY as a Claims Assistant; was past CCD teacher at Church of the Assumption in Maybrook; past Girl Scout pack leader and past little league team mother. She is survived by her husband Gordon of Campbell Hall, NY; children, Christian Myruski and husband Steven, Jackie Winstedt and husband Michael, and Gregory Thew and wife Cassandra; brother, John Cawein and wife Doris of Florida; sisters, Jan Cawein of Campbell Hall, Frederica Cawein of Campbell Hall, and Cathleen Schade of Newburgh; grandchildren, Sarah Myruski, Nicholas Myruski and Brayden Thew; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her parents, and grandson Riley Winstedt. Visitation will be Monday, April 13, 2009 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church St., Goshen, NY. Mass of Christian Burial will be Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at 10:00 am at Church of the Assumption in Maybrook, NY. Burial will follow in Hamptonburgh Cemetery, Campbell Hall, NY.
