Mary Makuen

Mary Makuen, age 84, of Middletown, passed away, Sunday, April 29, 2007 at her Residence. Born Mary Louise Sacher on May 24, 1922 in Buffalo, NY the daughter of the late Frederick Robert Sacher .and the late Louise(Mee) Sacher. Mary attended Middletown High School and Houghton College. For 30 years Mary taught private Piano and was active in Church Music. Mary served as Chairperson and area representative for Christian Womens Clubs. She was Pre-deceased by her Husband of 57 Years Floyd Reevs Makuen, Jr. in 2001 and her Sister Lois Salness. Mary is Survived by: 2 Sons, Floyd Reevs Makuen, 3rd and his wife Theresa of Goshen, N.Y., Thomas Robert Makuen and his wife Susan of Goshen, NY. , Grandchildren, Kelly Makuen, Erin Sherman & husband Henry, Kevin Makuen, Amy Welsh & husband Dan, 2 Sister, Martha Wilson of Chattanooga, TN. and Phebe Deblock and husband Sidney of Blairstown, NJ. Visitation hours will be Tuesday, May 1, 2007, from 2:00 to 4:00 PM & 7:00 to 9:00 PM. At the Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church St., Goshen, NY. The Funeral Services will be Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at 10:00 A.M. at the Goshen Christian Reformed Church, Route 17A, Goshen, with Rev. Dr. Duncan Truman and Rev. Stanley Sterling officiating.
