Mariann Labanowski

Mariann F. Labanowski, 77, of Converse, TX, entered into rest on Sunday, January 17, 2016 in Mt. Hope, NY. Mariann was born November 15, 1938 in Brooklyn, NY, the daughter of Franics J. and Mary (Sobocinski) Ostrowski. Mariann retired as a Benefits Coordinator at O.C. Risk Management, Goshen, NY. She was a member of the CSEA retirees and a member of St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church. She is survived by her son, William J. LaBow of Middletown; daughter, Luann Kowalczyk and husband Paul of Converse, TX; daughter in kind, Emma Smith and husband Kurt of Newton, NJ; brothers, Raymond Ostrowski and wife Rosemarie of Middle Hope, and Dennis Ostrowski and wife Suzanne of Saratoga Springs; sister, Annette Carroll of Goshen; grandchildren, William and wife Georgia, Andrew and finance Ashley, Nicole and husband Jeremy, Sunshine, Starlight, Danielle and wife Melissa, Amanda, Kaitlyn, Kimberly and Thomas; 3 great grandchildren, Abigail, Aubree and Miles; 3 step great grandchildren, Paul, Michael and Calie; and six nieces and nephews. She predeceased by her husband Lewis E. Labanowski, parents, and brother-in-law, Lester J. Carroll. Visitation will be Thursday, January 21 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Friday, January 22, 2016 at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen, NY. Burial will be in St. John's Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
