Margaret Mary Quinn

Margaret Mary Quinn, 96, of Goshen formerly of Warwick, NY, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 9, 2013 at Glen Arden, Goshen, NY. Margaret Mary was born July 31, 1917 in Bronx, NY, the daughter of James and Loretta (Shields) Corcoran. Margaret Mary graduated in 1937 from The College of New Rochelle and became a Teacher, School Administrator and Guidance Supervisor in the New York City Public School System. She was an avid horsewoman, riding horses to the age of 88. She was a devoted Catholic and long time member of St. Stephen R.C. Church in Warwick, NY. She loved travelling, reading books and was involved with the Middletown Retired Teachers Association, as well as, many volunteer organizations. She is survived by many nieces and nephews. Margaret Mary was predeceased by her parents, husband George, sister, Loretta, and 2 brothers, James and Theodore. Visitation will be Thursday, October 10 from 2:00 - 4:00 pm and 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am on Friday, October 11 at St. Stephen R.C. Church, Warwick, NY. Burial will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, New Rochelle, NY at 12:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Margaret Mary's name to AHRC Suffolk, 2900 Veteran's Memorial Highway, Bohemia, NY 11716 or a charity of ones' choice.
