It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Madelyn Ann Schrammel, who left this world peacefully on September 26, 2026, at the age of 68.

Madelyn was born on April 5, 1958, in Hackensack, New Jersey, to William L. Maloney and Dorothy M. Wilson. She made her home in Middletown, New York, where she built a life centered around the people who meant the most to her.

Above all else, Madelyn loved her family. Some of her greatest joy came from spending time with her children and grandchildren, and she treasured the moments they shared together. Her family was the center of her world, and the love she had for them will remain an enduring part of her legacy.

Madelyn was predeceased by her parents, William L. Maloney and Dorothy M. Wilson, and her brothers, Richard Maloney and Mark Wilson.

She is survived by her loving husband, Joseph J. Schrammel; her three children, David Schrammel and his wife, Tara; Michael Schrammel and Emily; and Colleen Hirko and her husband, Michael; and her six cherished grandchildren, Brody, Layla, Colton, Hayden, Presley, and Easton.

She is also survived by her dedicated sister, Diane Rodriguez, and her devoted brother, William Maloney, along with extended family and loved ones who will deeply miss her.

Madelyn will be remembered for the love she gave so freely to her family and for the happiness she found simply being surrounded by those she loved. Though her absence leaves an immeasurable void, the memories she created and the love she shared will live on through her husband, children, grandchildren, siblings, and all those fortunate enough to have known her.

Her memory will forever remain in the hearts of those who loved her.
