Louis Claudio

Louis Claudio, 89, of Goshen, died Sunday, May 7, 2017 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY. Louis was born June 13, 1927 in New York, NY, the son of the late Herculano Claudio and the late Adela (Serrano) Claudio. He served in the US Navy from 1945 to 1946 and was a Merchant Seaman for the US Merchant Marines until 1976. Later a private investigator and security guard at Florida Institute of Technology. Family and friends know Louie to be family man, a sweet sole and a true gentleman with a great love for heritage, music and his beloved New York Yankees. He is survived by his wife, Nancy M. (Miranda) Claudio at home, Janet Olivero Grassia, Joan Olivero Bredin, Judy Olivero Smith, John Olivero Jr, Louis Claudio Jr, 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday June 10th at the Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church Street, Goshen from 10:30 am to 12 pm with a burial immediately after at Orange County Veterans Cemetery in Goshen NY In lieu of flowers Louie would ask you to spend the money buying something nice for yourself and then say to "wear it in good health". So in his honor please do that.
