Lisa Scheuermann

Lisa A. Scheuermann, 57, of Goshen, entered into rest on Sunday, May 13, 2018 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY after fighting a strong battle against cancer. Lisa was born April 25, 1961 in Philadelphia, PA. She is the daughter of Douglas Hehn and Patricia (Barber) Hehn. She was an Emergency Services Dispatcher for the Town of New Windsor Police Department for 28 years. In addition, she was a travel agent and an EMT/First Aid/CPR instructor. She was a selfless community servant to multiple organizations. These include over 35 years in the Goshen Volunteer Ambulance Corps, an associate member of the Cataract Engine and Hose Company, and an Orange County EMS Deputy Coordinator. She attended Oklahoma State University and was an avid fan. She loved her community, travel, all things Disney, and her family. She is pre-deceased by her loving mother, Patricia B. Hehn of Goshen, NY. She is survived by her husband, Bill Scheuermann at home; her father Douglas Hehn of Oklahoma; daughter, Shannon Stansfield and husband Wayne of Goshen; son, Charles Gambuti and girlfriend, Michelle Roberts of Goshen; sisters, Pamela Hehn and Beth Hehn both of Goshen; step brother, Tony Inda of Guthrie, OK; step sister, Jan Bayless of Guthrie, OK and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Visitation will be Friday, May 18 from 3-8 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Saturday, May 19, 2018 at the First Presbyterian, 33 Park Pl., Goshen, NY with the Reverend David Kingsley officiating. Burial will follow in Hamptonburgh Cemetery, Campbell Hall, NY. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Lisa's name to Goshen Volunteer Ambulance Corps or the Goshen Humane Society.
