Linda Rooney

Linda T. Rooney, 51, of Goshen died tragically in an automobile accident, Wednesday, August 15, 2012, in Allentown, PA. Linda was born July 19, 1961 at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital in Bronx, NY and was predeceased by her parents, Carlo and Liana (Bernardi) Mariani, and her brother, Vincent Mariani. She was the wife of Raymond T. Rooney. She is survived by her husband, Raymond of Goshen; her 3 children, Lisa, Megan and Kevin, all of Goshen; her cousins, Rita and Tommy Scalzo and their three children, Maria and Charlie Cutaia and their son, Gina and Bill Weber, and Anna and Joseph Orlando and their two children; aunt, Filomena Conciatori; and her nephews, Vincent and Nicholas Mariani She is also survived by 6 brothers and sisters in-law as well as many nieces and nephews. Linda was a woman who never said no to anyone and always put the needs or wants of others before hers. She opened her heart and home to all those in her life and in the lives of her family. She was a loving wife and an amazing mother to her three children as well as her dog and best friend, Bailey. Words cannot describe how much she will be missed by her family. Visitation will be Friday, August 24 from 1:00 - 9:00 P.M. at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Funeral Mass will be held Saturday, August 25 at 10:00 am at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen,, NY. Burial will be private.
