Leticia Whittaker

Leticia Whittaker, 93, of Newburgh entered into rest on Thursday, March 16, 2023 at home in Newburgh, NY.

Leticia was born July 3, 1929 in Nyack, NY, the daughter of Giuseppe and Vigenza Pieri.

She is survived by two daughters, Shirley Tuthill and husband, Richard of Goshen and Sharon Whittaker and partner Tina Weil of Massachusetts; son, Joseph Whittaker III of Martville, NY; three grandchildren, Joseph Freehill, Adam Tuthill and wife Angelique, Shawn Tuthill and wife Jennifer; six great grandchildren; her sister, Jean Trebino; and brother, Anthony Pieri.

Leticia was predeceased by her husband Joseph Whittaker, brother, Emil Pieri, sisters, Alice Keffer, Clara Adams, son-in-law, James B. Freehill, Jr. and grandsons, James B. Freehill III and Todd Tuthill.

Visitation will be Wednesday March 22, 10 am – 12 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, with the Funeral Service in the Funeral Home at 12 pm.

Burial will follow in the Orange County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Goshen.
