Leone Helen Carpenter, 83, of Lake Ariel, PA. Passed away onTuesday, April 19, 2016 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY. Leone was born December 16, 1932 in Mt. Prospect, IL, the daughter Elmo and Gertrude (Roehler) Williams. Leone retired as a nurse and worked for Peekskill Community Hospital, Peekskill, NY.. She is survived by her daughter, Wendy Tarkington of Greenville, NY; two sons, Wayne Carpenter and wife Yolanda of Huntsville, Al and Russell Carpenter of Newburgh, NY; 7 grandchildren, Shawn, Shannon, Jay and Tyler Tarkington and Devin, Rylie and Quinn Carpenter; and 3 great grandchildren, Hudson, Harper and Haiden. She was predeceased by her husband Harold Carpenter and sister, Geraldine Danko. A Memorial Visitation will be Tuesday, April 26 from 3 to 5 P.M. at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY, with the Funeral Service at 4 Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
