Lawrence Dimeo

Lawrence S. DiMeo, age 83, of Campbell Hall, NY entered into rest on August 3, 2018 at home. Lawrence was born September 28, 1934 in New York, NY, the son of Salvatore and Catherine (Maltese) DiMeo. He was predeceased by his wife Louise (Vives) DiMeo; his boston terrier, Archibald Lawrence and his three sisters, Fortunata "Fanny", and twin sisters, Marie and Josephine. Lawrence was a decorated seaman in the US Navy on the USS Perry during the Korean War. He was very patriotic and loved his country and NYPD. He worked for many years as a truck driver for Perma-Line, in NYC and then worked and retired from AMSA in New Windsor, NY as an Armored Guard. He is survived by his daughters, Laura DiMeo-Colacci of Middletown and Linda DiMeo of Campbell Hall; his aunt, Josie Libertelli; loving family friend, Paul Rader; his beloved dog, Jason and many cousins, nieces and nephews; and friends. Heartfelt gratitude to Sandra Roller for the loving care and comfort she provided to our dad. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 7, 2018 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 10:00 am Wednesday, August 8, 2018 at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen, NY.
