Kenneth Hunter

Kenneth Hunter, 93, of Chester, died Thursday, September 18, 2014 at Summit Park Hospital, Pomona, NY. Born March 16, 1921 in Goshen, NY, the son of George and Florence (Mapes) Hunter. Kenneth served in the U.S. Army during WWII; retired from the Orange County Highway Department, Goshen, NY as a Mechanic; and was a member of the Hamptonburgh Otterkill Engine and Hose for 25 years. He is survived by his sons, Kenneth Hunter, Jr. and Brian Hunter; many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Marcella Earle Hunter; daughters Barbara Wade and Brenda Hunter, great grandson, Leland Wade and great granddaughter, Jaimie Barney Wade. Burial will be private in Hamtponburgh Cemetery, Campbell Hall, NY. Arrangements by the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., Goshen.
