KATHLEEN "KATHY" BARNES January 1, 1942 - January 19, 2017 Goshen, NY Kathleen "Kathy" Barnes, 75, of Goshen, died Thursday, January 19, 2017 at home. Kathy was born January 1, 1942 in Sugar Loaf, NY, the daughter of Oscar and Florence (Roach) Miller. Kathy retired from Elsie's Luncheonette in Goshen, NY. She was a devoted mother and grandmother. Her door was always open, and she welcomed everyone into her home. Kathy enjoyed poker nights and garage sales with her siblings. She is survived by her children: Kenneth Barnes and wife, Carolyn and Glenn Barnes and wife, Elena, both of of New Hampton; daughter, Jody Dobrzynski and husband, Marc of Montgomery; siblings: Marilyn Behnke of Goshen, Florence Kilb of Washingtonville, Arthur Miller of Lake Placid, FL, Richard Miller and wife, Ellen of Campbell Hall and Glenn Miller and wife, Nancy of Warwick; sisters-in-law, Elaine Pedro of Binghamton and Joyce Wdowiak and husband, Walter of Windsor, NY; six grandchildren: Nicholas and Coleman Barnes, Alexandria and Jason Barnes, Katelyn and Lia Dobrzynski and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold "Cy" Barnes; as well as siblings: Doris Greenhill and husband, Tex, Evelyn Kostek and husband, Rex, Oscar Miller and wife, Betty, Valma Eisma, Sandra Stevens and husband, Paul; brothers-in-law: Edward Behnke, Carl Kilb and Robert Pedro; and sister-in-law, Sydney Miller. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25 at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. The funeral will be held 11 a.m. on Thursday, January 26, 2017 at the Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Slate Hill Cemetery, Goshen.
