Judith Quick

Judith Quick, age 84, of Maybrook, passed away at home on December 31, 2019, she was surrounded by her loved ones. Judith was born May 10, 1935 in Yonkers , NY, where she lived 74 years. She is the daughter of the late Louis Abraham and the late Sarah Cohen . Judith was one of 8 children. She married the late Eugene G. Quick in 1953. She is survived by her daughter ; Robyn Perez and her husband Jose of Maybrook, NY. Judith was pre-deceased by a son Erick Quick in 1972. She is also survived by her granddaughter Sarah Duran and her great grandchildren Daymon and Mamie Hall of Connecticut. She was also a god mother to Daniel Sanchez of Yonkers. Judith was a caring wife, daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, godmother and a loving aunt and friend to many. Her granddaughter and great-grandchildren, and others called her Nana. She loved that name. Judith worked at several factories in Yonkers when she was younger and worked as a nanny in Yonkers, NY for many years. After many years the children, now adults still call her and think of her fondly. She also volunteered at St. John's Episcopal Church, in Yonkers, at their Farmer's Market and Thrift Store. Judith also, volunteered for many years at her granddaughter's elementary school, helping children read. Judith was a very kind and giving person with a very strong personality. Those she loved she loved with her whole heart and we are forever grateful for that love.
