Joseph Scalia Goshen, New York Joseph Scalia, 93, of Goshen died Monday, August 23, 2010 at Orange Regional Medical Center-Arden Hill Campus, Goshen, NY. His innocence brought happiness to all who knew him. A life long resident of Queens, NY. Joseph was born December 24, 1916 in New Rochelle, NY, the son of John Scalia and Mary Nicotra Scalia. He is survived by his loving sister, friend and caretaker, Josephine Scalia, a resident of Elant Adult Home; other family members are Geraldine Belovich, John and Maureen Albarino, Jean- Marie Nicole, grandnieces and nephews, Gerald Lewis, Sandra Doolittle, Christine Olivencia, Charles Lewis, Laura Albarino, John Albarino, Jr., Anthony Albarino, Tracy Albraino and Patricia Yustein. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 24 from 7:00 to 9:00 pm at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 am on Wednesday, August 25 at St. John The Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen,, NY. Burial will follow in St. John's Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
