Joseph T. Melito Middletown, New York Joseph T. Melito, 83, of Middletown, NY, died Thursday, December 3, 2015 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY. Joseph was born August 26, 1932 in Bronx, NY, the son of the late Edward Melito and the late Dorothy (Danker) Melito. He served in the U.S. Navy during the Korean war. Joseph was a self Employed Diesel Mechanic. He enjoyed taking the time to fix things, he was a tinkerer. He is survived by the love of his life – Diane Evans of Middletown; 2 Daughters, Laurie S. Post & husband David of Milford, PA., and Jaimie Melito of the Poconos, PA; Stepson, Kevin Howell of Port Jervis, NY; Sister, Angel Lindsley of the State of Georgia; 4 Grandchildren, Brianna R. Knibbs, Alexander Joseph Andersen, Dylan Joseph Rummel & Shawn Winner. The Memorial service and burial will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, December 12, 2015 at Orange County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Craigville Rd., Goshen, NY with Military Honors to follow the service.
