Joseph Brogan

Joseph John Brogan, 70, of Goshen, entered into rest on Wednesday, August 22, 2018 at home. Joseph was born October 22, 1947 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of Peter Brogan and Jane (Mackay) Brogan. Joseph served in the U.S. Navy from 1966 to 1969. He retired from Local 94 as an Operating Engineer. He will be greatly missed for his sense of humor, his Donald Duck impersonation, his ability to fix anything, and the way he kept his lawn so green. He is survived by his wife: Katherine J. Brogan at home; daughters, Tracy (Brogan) Chapman and husband Dave, Tara (Brogan) Weglarz and husband John and Lauren (Brogan) Smith and husband Ed; granddaughters Hannah and Mara Chapman and Lilah Smith; grandsons, Leo and Devon Weglarz; sisters, Barbara (Brogan) Bryzinski and Patricia (Brogan) Hanson and husband Charles; many nieces, nephews and grand nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, brothers, Peter, James and Edward and sisters, Veronica, Geraldine and Mary. Visitation will be Friday, August 24 from 2-4 PM & 6-8 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. The Funeral Service will be held 10:00 am on Saturday, August 25, 2018 at Donovan Funeral Home, 82 South Church St., Goshen, NY with Sister Ann officiating. Burial will follow in Orange County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, Goshen, NY.
