John T. Tomapat Campbell Hall, NY John T. Tomapat, 64, of Campbell Hall, NY died Friday, June 22, 2012 at Orange Regional Medical Center, Middletown, NY. John was born July 8, 1947 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late John J. and Rose (Manges) Tomapat. He retired from the U.S. Navy as Master Chief and was a Bronze Star and 4 Purple Heart Recipient serving in the Vietnam War. He was a Strategic Account Executive at One Communications, Rye Brook, NY. He is survived by his wife, Karen Tomapat of Goshen; children, Domenick Tomapat and wife April, Catina Moreland, Alethea Burke and husband Christopher, James S. Tomapat, Joseph S. Tomapat and Rachel E. Tomapat; sister, Elvira McGee and Husband Thomas; 5 grandchildren, Robert, Megan and Alyssa Jackson, David Tomapat, and Kaitlyn Rae Burke; niece, Nadine Fiallo; and 2 nephews, Greg and Steven McGee. Visitation will be Wednesday, June 27 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM & 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be Thursday, June 28 at 10:00 am at St. John the Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen, NY. Burial will be United States Navy Burial at Sea. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Disabled American Veterans, P.O. Box #429, Goshen, NY. 10924 Arrangements under the care of the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., Goshen.
