JOHN 'MARK' KNIGHT GOSHEN, NEW YORK John Mark Knight, 55, of Goshen, NY, died Thursday, March 11, 2010 at home. John Mark was born March 4, 1955 in Brooklyn, NY, the son of the late John F. and the late Marilyn R. (Rockefeller) Knight. John "Mark" formerly lived in Malvern and Rockville Centre on Long Island before moving to Goshen in 1998. He served honorably in the Marine Corps and he was a member of the New York City Police Department for 20+ years, retiring as a sergeant. He is survived by his wife of 23 years, Eileen S. Knight (nee Mehrtens); and his three loving children, Thomas Joseph (TJ), John Mark (Jack), and Jeannine S. Knight, all of Goshen, NY; his siblings, Melanie (Knight) Eggers, Jeff Knight, Jane (Knight) Yella and James Knight. John "Mark" leaves behind many friends and relatives who will miss him, but always remember, his wonderful sense of humor and unyielding selflessness. Visitation will be Saturday, March 13 from 3-6 pm and Sunday, March 14, from 4-7 pm at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc., 82 South Church St., Goshen, NY, with the Funeral Service on Sunday evening in the Funeral Home at 6:30 pm.
