JOHN R. GREEN, SR. November 19, 1932 - July 15, 2015 Pine Bush, NY John R. Green, Sr., age 82 of Pine Bush, NY died Wednesday, July 15, 2015 at home. Born November 19, 1932 in Goshen, NY, he was the son of the late Orville and the late Anna (Dailey) Green. John served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War. He retired as a truck driver from Spindler Bulk Transport, Washingtonville, NY. John had a love for driving. He loved driving a tractor trailer. He drove till he was 79. He loved his family and friends and enjoyed Dunkin Donuts and scratch offs. He is survived by his children: Patricia Oetzel, Carol Stanton and husband, Gus, Joanne Francois and husband, Rick, John Green, Jr., Sharon Steinhilber, Joseph Green and wife, Karla and Jeffrey Green and wife, Jodi; 21 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren. He was predeceased by his two wives: Marilyn Simpson Taylor and Sharon Keller and his sister, Helen Lempka. Burial will be private and at the convenience of the family.
