John Dunn

It is with deep sorrow to announce John Thomas Dunn, of Middletown, NY, born in Brooklyn (Bay Ridge), NY, a proud veteran of the US Army passed away Sunday, July 4, 2021 at the age of 92 surrounded by his loving family. He was predeceased by his parents, Thomas Dunn and Anna Mae (Neylon) and his brother, Thomas and sister, Eileen (Ross) and her husband Thomas. He is survived by his wife of 60 years: Jean Mary (Elcho); his children, Jill Ann of Port Charlotte, FL, Stephen Patrick at home, Susan Margaret Canzoneri of New Windsor, NY, Robert Andrew and his wife, Diane of Clarence, NY, Nancy Jean Soto and her husband, David of New Hampton, NY, Michael Peter and his wife Kerry of Rochester, NY, as well as many grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Visitation will be Friday, July 9 from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM at Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. The Funeral Service to Celebrate his life will be held 1:30 pm on Friday, July 9, 2021 at the Funeral Home, with the burial to follow in Orange County Veteran's Memorial Cemetery, 111 Craigville Road, Goshen, NY. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in John's memory to Hospice of Orange/Sullivan Counties, Inc., 800 Stony Brook Court, Newburgh, NY – 12550 and St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Plaza, Memphis, TN – 28105 or a charity of one's choice.
