Joan Travell New Windsor, NY Joan Travell, 83, of New Windsor, NY died Sunday, September 29, 2013 at Elant at Goshen. Joan was born September 6, 1930 in Howard Beach, NY, the daughter of George and Catherine (Conway) Linneman. She is survived by her husband, Charles Travell of New Windsor; children, Wayne Travell and wife Ann, Carl Travell and wife Eliza, Carol Davino and husband Stephen, sister, Theresa Mills; daughter-in-law, Virginia Florio; brother-in-law, Charles Votke; 7 grandchildren, Nicholas Davino and his wife Julia, Diana and Christina Davino, George and Alexandra Travell, Lisa and Steven Travell, Carly and Madeline Travell; 1 great granddaughter, Olivia Davino; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her son Michael Travell. Special thanks to all the care givers at Elant at Goshen who loved and cared for Joan. Visitation will be Thursday, October 3 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM & 7:00 to 9:00 PM at the Donovan Funeral Home, Inc, 82 South Church Street, Goshen, NY. The funeral will be held 11:00 am on Friday, October 4 at St. John The Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen, NY. Burial will be in Private and at the convenience of the family.
