She is the daughter of the late William and the late Irene (Cassidy) Cleator. She was married to late John J. .O'Rourke. She was employed by Suffolk County Dept. Of Health, Selden, NY as a Registered Nurse. Joan is survived by 2 Sons - Michael O'Rourke & Martin O'Rourke; 3 Daughters - Mary Shields & her husband Joseph, Maureen Dinklemeyer & Shiela O'Rourke; 1 Brother - Rev. Gerard Cleator; 2 Sisters - Patricia Smyth & Eileen Cleator. She is predeceased by her Mother & Father, Husband, Sister - Marilyn Hayward & Brother - Joseph Cleator ; ; Joan is a member of the Florida Senior Citizens, Florida, NY. A Mass of Christian burial will be held 9:30 am on Saturday, July 21 at St. John The Evangelist R.C. Church, 71 Murray Ave, Goshen,, NY.
